Annie Stein concentrates her practice in various facets of school law, including student privacy, student discipline matters, employment law, disability issues, and the Texas Public Information Act. She has prepared responses to charges filed with the EEOC and complaints filed with the Office of Civil Rights. Ms. Stein has also successfully defended school districts before Independent Hearing Examiners appointed by the Texas Education Agency involving special education and employment matters. She also assists in several appeals to the Fifth Circuit involving First and Fourteenth Amendment challenges.
