For over twenty-five years, David has passionately and successfully advised, supported, and defended school law clients. He knows the importance of the work of educators and he is greatly honored to serve them and their boards as legal counsel.
David B. Hodgins represents and counsels public school districts, junior and community colleges, universities and other governmental entities concerning all areas of education and government law including labor and employment matters, special education law, student discipline concerns, contracts and service agreements, open government, election law, civil rights matters, and state and federal litigation. David is a frequent speaker regarding education law issues at the state and national level. Before joining Thompson & Horton, David was a partner at Bracewell in its Houston office.
