Emily brings federal employment law experience from various internships as well as her passion for education to her work. With many family members and friends that work in education, Emily developed an interest in advocating on behalf of schools.

Emily is an associate in the Dallas office of Thompson & Horton. As a former student of Texas public schools, Emily is proud to litigate on behalf of Texas schools in employment law matters. During law school at Emory University School of Law, Emily interned for the Hearings Unit of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in the Atlanta district office. During her time at the EEOC, Emily was inspired to pursue employment and disability law after assisting an administrative law judge on issues related to the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VII. Emily later interned for the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor in the Atlanta office where she continued to pursue her interest in employment law. While in law school, Emily served as an articles editor of the Emory Law Journal. Prior to law school, Emily worked in a law firm specializing in corporate immigration which inspired her to later attend law school.
