Katie is the daughter, sister, and wife of educators. A former educator herself, she left the classroom to attend law school, but immediately felt the call to public service. She began her legal career as a prosecutor at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where she gained invaluable experience as a trial attorney.

Katie now wields her experience in the arena of education law. She represents and counsels school districts, junior and community colleges, universities, and other governmental entities in all areas of education and government law including transactional and litigation matters.

Prior to attending law school, Katie served as a teacher, content specialist, and basketball coach in the Houston area. Her experience in education coupled with the countless hours of litigation experience she gained as a prosecutor allows her to provide clients with well-rounded legal representation. As a former educator still closely connected to the education community, Katie has a unique understanding of the issues our clients face which enables her to problem-solve and advise clients accordingly. As a trial attorney, Katie provides clients with robust representation inside of the courtroom, fiercely advocating for our clients.
